Prospective Clients
- Do you work on fees or commissions?
For investment management services, we work on a FEE ONLY basis. This means that our fees are fully transparent and come directly from you, the client, and not from any outside third party thus reducing or eliminating any potential conflict of interest. For insurance offerings (mostly term life insurance and/or long term care insurance, we may receive a commisson if the policy is placed through any of the many insurance companies we can work with. - How can I check up on you?
Here's a list of resources, organizations and websites you can contact to check up on us or any potential advisor. I'm also happy to provide client and professional references if that would be helpful. - When I invest with you, who is actually holding my money?
We do not actually take custody of any client funds, and are prohibited from doing so. Most client assets are custodied with our primary custodian, TD Ameritrade Institutional, although for some specific types of investments or accounts, we may use other custodians. In most cases, though, assets are custodied through TD Ameritrade Institutional. - Where do you meet with clients?
